Bill Frisell and Sarah Lipstate are in!

Two more artists are added to the incredible roster.

Bill Frisell. A humble living legend, a leading figure in jazz guitar playing and has collaborated with endless amazing artists like fellow Stompbox participator Vernon Reid. Their collaboration is awesome, the two came out with an album Smash and Scatteration back in ‘86.

Sarah Lipstate is a Brooklyn based composer and filmmaker. Noveller is her solo electric guitar project which has toured with St. Vincent, Iggy Pop, and other greats.

I love the lineup we have so far and can’t wait to see who’s going to be our next confirmation. Michael Ross, one of our new contributing writers will interview them both. Ross curates Guitar Moderne, an online zine dedicated to creating a community for experimental guitar. He is a Consulting Editor at Guitar Player and contributes to Premier Guitar, Electronic Musician, and Sound On Sound. He is the author of Getting Great Guitar Sounds and All About Effects.
