Vintage Feel, Modern Touch

A few page layouts and samples just arrived today.

As the creative director of this book, I try to give our design team as much freedom as possible. I communicate a simple idea and let them do their thing. At this point, we choose different grids for the book layout and a font family that gives us a nice combo of readability with a balance in style between modern and vintage, the theme captures both.

This thing feels more real every day, it’s such a treat to see the book come to life.

I don’t feel we’re there yet, but we’re getting close.
