The Roto. We have an Editorial Director!

Let’s introduce you to Roto.

A powerhouse that does it all. Both guitarist and author, Roto currently plays with 70’s legends Humble Pie and has been a touring member of Air, Mr. Bungle, and The Grassy Knoll. He is no rookie in the writing field, as he worked for both Guitar Player and Guitar World and has contributed to other great publications like Spin and Rolling Stone. I love having strong writers with multi-disciplinary perspectives and Roto is the best person to help us out with the Stompbox book. I’m impressed by his style and am sure you’ll love reading all the pieces he has working for us. 

I was introduced to Roto by Michael Ross who suggested him as a contributing writer. In our first phone conversation, we really clicked and his enthusiasm, knowledge of everything guitars/pedals, and his super chill attitude, made a great impression on me. After a couple of weeks, I decided to offer him the position as Editorial Director and it only took him a few days to decide and he’s fully with us now!

This is a huge milestone for us and I’m really looking forward to working with him and excited by everything that he can bring to the table.
