Uber Excited for John Scofield

Not alluding to the car service, but the great album überjam by the John Scofield Band… Scofield is in! Michael Ross is set to interview him.

John Scofield is a personal favorite for me. Growing up in Israel I discovered his music as a teenager spending significant time playing his albums. It’s a great honor for me to have him participate. It’s surreal to create something that includes and excites people like John Scofield who have influenced and inspired me for many years. I’m feeling thankful!

Having recorded over 30 albums, he has influenced the jazz scene since the ‘70s. He recorded and toured with Miles Davis from ‘82-’85 and is featured playing electric guitar on Davis’ 1983 album Star People. Making another connection to our project, Bill Frisell played electric and acoustic guitars on Scofield’s album Grace Under Pressure released in ‘92.
